Camp Fiesta is a 9-day, sleep–over summer camp where creating a FUN and healing environment for our campers is our top priority. Each summer, children with cancer between the ages of 7-17 come together at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to experience "The Greatest Camp in the History of the World ".They quickly become part of a very special family known as Camp Fiesta.
Camp features a wide range of traditional camp activities including swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing and much more. Our amazing camp experience is amplified by exciting South Florida field trips as well as a three day/two night adventure to Orlando theme parks.
While in Ft Lauderdale, camp accomodations include air-conditioned cabins with bunk beds and in-cabin bathrooms. During our Orlando adventure we are the guests of 5-star hotels.
Camp Fiesta is medically staffed around the clock and has a camper to counselor ratio of 2:1.
Our camp counselors were once Camp Fiesta campers themselves.
In 1985 Camp Fiesta became South Florida’s FIRST camp for children with cancer created for the Childrens Cancer Caring Center by Lee Klein. Her memory and legacy will always live on with our
Camp Fiesta family. Today Camp Fiesta serves children from many hospitals throughout the state of Florida and beyond.
Camp Fiesta is funded completly through charitable donations. We are very grateful for the continued support we have receive from our community as well as our generous and caring donors. In addition our Board of Directors and camp counselors all volunteer their time and continue to give of themselves in countless ways throughout the year. This collective generosity allows us to provide our incredible
